This knock off "litter robot" has killed MULTIPLE cats, and is currently the Amazon #1 Best Seller. The company knows it's killing cats, and it's still being sold on Amazon. Click the images in the lowest part of this section to see their latest Amazon listing or just search "Litter Robot" on Amazon; it's within the top few that pop up. Below is the third new listing they've reposted in 7 days, removing the failed ones if reported or negative reviews are posted. If negative reviews surface, the company will just relist the same deadly product under a new name. As of now it's still the #1 Best Seller on Amazon because it's the most affordable option. 

In late June 2024, one of our sweet, Magic Siberian kittens we bred and poured love into for five months, named "Marie" was killed by this device only five days after going to her forever home. 

In July we posted a warning about it in a facebook group for cat breeders, so they could warn their customers. Others in the group noticed a recent tik tok about this same problem. Then others commented on the post, that the amazon review we linked had two one star reviews, stating it had killed cats. The cat breeding community did amazing detective work, and realized MULTIPLE cats were killed by this device. Then Five Cats One Man, a Youtuber who tests and reviews automatic cleaning litter boxes conducted an investigation and made the video (Short on top, long on bottom) analysing how it's killing cats. 

Then "Penguinz0", a Youtuber with 15.9 million subscribers made a reaction video about the investigative video. His video (middle) is going viral and soon this issue will be in the mainstream news. 

As commenters on the videos have pointed out, a firmware update is not a permanent fix since it can be inadvertently altered or accidentally deleted by future updates. The machine itself should not be capable of killing cats, since firmware code may not be a reliable solution. It is a fundamental design flaw. These need to be recalled and removed from the market. These devices are likely being sold internationally, please spread the word to save cats lives.
